Sing for the climate: The final clip
The final clip for “Sing for the Climate is being used to ask politicians to take measures to stop the global warming.
- On the 29th of November 2012 we showed the premiere of the clip to the Belgian Prime Minister; Elio Di Ruppo, the State Secretary of Environment; Melchior Wathelet, the Flemish Minister of Environment; Joke Schauvlieghe and the Minister of Environment in the European Federal Parlement; Evelyne Huytebroeck. All the above signed the demands of the Campaign for the Climate and therefor committed themselves to take necessary measures.
- After that we took the clip with us to the Climate Top at Doha in December 2012.
We were even able to show the clip at the beginning of the last Plenary Meeting. Now it's clear to the world that the population of a small country can have a huge say about justice for the climate.
The more people who see the clip, the better. The success of 'Sing for the Climate' proves that a mass mobilization around climate change is still possible. That's why we are asking you not only to view the clip yourself but to share is with as many you can.
Share it with your foreign friends as well.
Because we really need to make this an international campaign. Now is time to give the same signal on an international level. Therefore we appeal to local groups and organizations worldwide to organize their own version of Sing for the Climate and register it on this website.
